Natural Red Spiney Oyster Shell harvested in the Gulf of California. What a statement these make! Note my hand stamp detail around the edge. I created the scalloped look by hand sawing around the impression of the stamp I used. They are made with sterling silver posts.
The earrings measure 1-1/8" x 7/8". Each side weighs about 4.5 grams. FYI - a quarter weighs 5.7 grams. Also, I used ear clutches for the back to give the earring more support on the ear.
