The texture I created for these earrings remind me of the bark on Aspen trees and the reflection of Mother Nature and all her beauty. I hand sawed the sterling silver shapes and filed the edges. After this procedure, I hammered a texture onto the silver then with the edge of the hammerhead I struck the line marks up and down the silver. I drilled a hole at the top and handmade the sterling silver ear wires. Followed this up with my high polish technique – nice and shiny.
The earrings are lightweight on the ears and are 86 mm long from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the earring and about 5 mm wide – 3-1/2” by 3/16”.
I stamped my name, Lita and STERLING on the backside of each piece.
