This Peruvian Blue Opal has so much depth to it and I just love the color! It made its way to me so I could create this beautiful sterling silver cuff to show it off. Just look at all of my hand stamped detail surrounding the opal and along the edge of the cuff all around.
On one of my outings, I met a woman who had a grand selection of Peruvian mined stones that her son digs for and has local Peruvian lapidaries who work the rock. Of course, I couldn't pass up on this beauty, along with many other stones and shell. You know, I never met a rock I didn't like!
I took a cloth tape measure and measured the inside of the cuff, which is about 5-1/2" with a 1" opening. The middle of the cuff is 1-1/8" wide and tapers down to 1/2". The total weight of the cuff is 34.6 grams.
My hallmark, which stands for “Buffalo-Eagle”, my name, Lita and STERLING is stamped on the inside of the cuff.
