Nothing like shiny brass! I turned this strip of brass into a bookmark and stamped an image of the Hamsa on it. The Hamsa is a protective amulet used by Jewish & Muslim people & many other cultures. Brings it's owner happiness, luck, health, & good fortune. It is also a powerful talisman warding off the evil eye.
The straight part of the bookmark is 2-11/16” long (68 mm) and is 13/16” wide (20 mm). The part with the Hamsa is 1-3/8” long (35 mm) by 13/16” wide (20 mm).
On the backside of the bookmark is my hallmark, which stands for “Buffalo-Eagle” and my name Lita.
