The piece of fossilized Walrus Ivory I set in this ring is from some remnants of the old hunts that were unearthed on St. Lawrence Island, Alaska and ranges in age from 200 to 2,000 years.
What a great looking ring! I chose serrated bezel to surround the piece of ivory and added tiny twisted wire around the face of the ring. Also featured is my high polish technique – nice and shiny!
The ring is size 6-3/4. The band is 1/8” (4 mm) wide. The face of the ring is 15/16” (24 mm) by 5/8” (16 mm).
My hallmark, which stands for “Buffalo-Eagle”, my name, Lita and STERLING is stamped on the inside of the band.
