SOLD-Ring with Santa Fe Railroad China Mimbreno Pattern

0811017 ring santa fe mimb trim 1.JPG

The piece of china featured in this ring is from the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad China - Known as The Santa Fe Railroad. Mary Coulter of the Santa Fe, who is credited with this patterns invention, from the Mimbreno Series made by Syracuse China very strictly supervised this pattern. The pattern was to commemorate the ancient Mimbres Indians of New Mexico and the china was served on by the Santa Fe from 1937 to 1970. As a whole piece, the china is high dollar as it is highly collectible. The piece in this ring is from a piece of broken china.

And what a great looking ring it is! Bold and stately! I chose serrated bezel to surround the piece of china, which features some of the geometric patterns used in the series.  Also featured is my hand stamped artistry on the band and my high polish technique – nice and shiny!

The ring is size 7-1/2. The band tapers from 7/16” (11 mm) to about ½” (13 mm) at the widest. The face of the ring is 1” (25 mm) to about 1-1/4” (32 mm).

My hallmark, which stands for “Buffalo-Eagle”, my name, Lita and STERLING is stamped on the inside of the band.
