The piece of china featured in this ring is from the Union Pacific Railroad China – Pattern: Historical Series - Made by Syracuse China Co., New York. This pattern was served on from 1925 to mid 1950's. The dinnerware was made to commemorate the U.P. and the Central Pacific completing the first coast-to-coast U.S. rail system. As a whole piece, the china is high dollar as it is highly collectible. The piece in this ring is one of the pictorials from a piece of broken china.
And what a great looking ring it is! Bold and stately! I chose serrated bezel to surround the piece of china and tiny twist wire around the face of the ring. The piece of china features one of the pictorials, the covered wagon from the series. Also featured is my hand stamped artistry on the band and my high polish technique – nice and shiny!
The ring is size 6-1/2. The band tapers from 7/16” (11 mm) to about ½” (13 mm) at the widest. The face of the ring is 1-1/4” (28 mm).
My hallmark, which stands for “Buffalo-Eagle”, my name, Lita and STERLING is stamped on the inside of the band.
